Reviewed by Maria Rheba Estante, LMFT, LPCC — practice manager specializing in OCD, PTSD, trauma, and neurodivergent care.

As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, more and more couples find love across cultural and racial boundaries. While these relationships can be immensely rewarding, they also come with unique challenges. Enter Elizabeth Ribicki, a skilled bilingual LMFT with a love of travel and exploring the uniqueness of international culture. Elizabeth is dedicated to helping inter-racial, multicultural couples navigate the complexities of their relationships.

A Personal Multicultural Journey from Birth

Elizabeth’s passion for multicultural couples counseling stems from her deep appreciation for the varieties of cultures, cuisines, customs, and languages. Growing up simultaneously speaking English and Spanish in California, Elizabeth was blessed with experiencing diversity from an early age thanks to the multicultural communities that have always surrounded her. Differences were a source of learning and adventure with the array of friendships she cultivated throughout childhood, high school, and into adulthood. Her open heartedness allows her to approach varieties of perspectives and social practices with kindness and curiosity. Living life through a cosmopolitan ethos, Elizabeth intimately understands the joys and challenges of building a life with people from a different cultural background. This firsthand knowledge of the special dynamics and considerations that come with living in multicultural environments equips Elizabeth to genuinely resonate with intercultural relationships.
