Before beginning your interstate licensing journey, a crucial first step is confirming whether your target state requires a passing score on the National MFT exam. As a California LMFT, you may not have taken this exam, as California uses its own state clinical exam. Many states require passing the National MFT exam for licensure by endorsement or reciprocity. This requirement can significantly impact your timeline and should be your first checkpoint in the licensing process.

Initial Discovery & Planning Session

$100 (60 minutes)

During this session, we will:

  • Review your target state(s) requirements

  • Assess your current documentation status

  • Create initial SMART goal framework

  • Determine optimal coaching package

  • Develop preliminary project timeline

Prerequisites for Booking Discovery Session:

  • Must be currently licensed for a minimum of 2 years

  • Have identified specific target state(s) for licensure

  • Completed preliminary review of target state(s) requirements

  • Understand if National MFT exam is required (CA LMFTs)

Monthly Accountability Coaching Plans

Focus Plan:

  • $50/month (1 state)

  • $75/month (2 states)

  • $150/month (3 states)

  • $300/month (4 to 6 states)

  • Bi-weekly accountability check-ins (30 minutes)

Payment Terms

  • Discovery session fee due at booking

  • Monthly coaching fees are billed at the start of each month

  • Credit card and PayPal accepted

  • No refunds on the discovery session

  • 14-day notice is required for coaching cancellation

To get the most value from this service, you should:

  • Have 2+ years of active licensure experience
  • Already identified target state(s) for licensure
  • Completed basic research on requirements
  • Ready to commit 2-3 hours weekly to tasks
  • Seeking accountability, not done-for-you services

Coaching Program Policies

  • A discovery session must be completed before starting monthly coaching

  • Sessions expire if not used within a calendar month

  • 24-hour cancellation policy

  • Rescheduling is allowed once per session

  • No rollover of unused sessions

All prices are in USD. Rates subject to annual review. Existing clients grandfathered at current rate for 6 months from any price increase.
