Elizabeth Ribicki, LMFT 98498 (CA), is a Senior Therapist and Consultant at Exposure Therapy Designs for Spanish-speaking clinicians. Elizabeth facilitates our Spanish language Therapist Process Support Group for Flash technique therapists.

Elizabeth has been in practice since 2012 and is a Post-Doctoral candidate in Media Psychology at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara. Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish, she is a valuable professional peer resource for clinicians learning to incorporate the Flash technique in clinical work. Elizabeth brings a person-centered, strengths-based perspective that is culturally sensitive and trauma-focused.

In her private practice, Elizabeth offers specialized therapy that utilizes neuroscience techniques to reduce anxiety, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for structured thinking, and the Flash Technique for rapid desensitization from distressing thoughts and feelings. Her comprehensive approach supports individuals in achieving significant stress reduction and developing emotional resilience. By incorporating neuroscience-based techniques, Elizabeth helps clients understand and regulate their emotional responses to stressors. These methods work to calm the nervous system, reducing the physiological impact of anxiety and promoting a sense of balance and well-being.

Elizabeth is especially passionate about The Flash Technique. Flash is a rapid desensitization method, employed to help clients quickly process and release distressing thoughts and feelings. This technique supports stress reduction by minimizing the emotional impact of troubling memories or triggers, allowing individuals to respond to stressors with greater emotional regulation and resilience. Her compassionate approach of the practice fosters a supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make positive changes.
